DECOLONIAL ENCOUNTERS

On Friday, June 28 we invite you to join us for a panel of mini-lectures on Palestine and International Solidarity with Palestine!

The event will take place in Anatomiesaal (Souterrain) from 6 PM until 9 PM. Each presenter will speak for 10 minutes, and there will be a time for questions and discussion afterwards. Bring your friends, keffiyehs, and talk to us about international solidarity and the repression of Palestinian voices at Austrian universities!

Our speakers will present on:

Organize with us!
▶️Join us for our first open meeting this semester. We will discuss our latest actions, recent developments in repression of pro-Palestinian speech at the academy and future possibilities.
▶️We are a group of students here at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna. We have been active for over a year to organize with other student collectives, both in and outside the limited scope of the academic space. Our goal is to confront our locality and break through the silence and pacifying discourse so often imposed on us.
Our local institutions aid the reproduction of the zionist genocide campaign not merely through academic discussion, but institutional cooperation, funding distribution and repression of vocal declarations of solidarity.
We also recognize that solidarity is not enough. We invite you to think and organize together, to struggle for Palestine with all we have, against and beyond our identity as students, artists, and faculty.
