"The differences travelling in Europe vs North America is laughable. Typical included hotel breakfasts in North America consist of soggy eggs, greasy bacon, sausages and usually some stale French toast or pancakes that come out of a machine. The coffee is usually undrinkable. Most hotels in Europe include fabulous spreads of everything from fresh pastries, cheeses, jams, charcuterie, whole fruits and juices and even a crepe station. The coffee is usually choices of excellent espresso to lattes.
These are your average North American hotels and cost about $200 a night. The Italian ones here are about €100!"
