Graphic designer
Exagen is a renewable energy organisation that is undergoing rapid growth. It aims to help facilitate the energy transition demands of the UK and EU by developing and investing into large-scale solar and battery storage projects.
What you will be doing:
- Responsible for providing support to the whole team through a variety of channels, print, digital, web, video and others as assigned.
- Reporting to and working alongside the Marketing Manager, developing and designing core graphics, illustrations, collateral materials, social media campaigns, web-based application of graphics and a variety of other creative tasks,
- Preparing print and electronic files, templates, PowerPoint slides, presentation materials, print files, design files
- Social media tasks and creation of digital materials, infographics, & assets for social media platforms
- Assist with website branding and updates
- Assist with collateral updates, stationary, brochure etc.
- Creation of illustrations in accordance with the corporate brand and products
- Creation and updating various internal documentation
- Presentation formatting and graphics creation, infographics/diagrams, video
- Creative brainstorming and campaign work
- Working closely with the technical and development teams
What you need for this position:
- Related degree / professional qualifications with an outstanding visual portfolio showing beautifully crafted design across digital and print
- 5+ years as an integrated designer who has experience designing within brand guidelines across print and digital, artworking from start to finish
- Excellent design software skills: Adobe Creative Suite. InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
- Animation/video skills – Premier, After effects
- Creative and with solid attention to detail, proofing skills and understanding of key graphic design principles; layout, colour, hierarchy, typography, imagery, etc.
- Web based experience/knowledge and social media platform experience desirable
- Good working knowledge of PowerPoint and Microsoft products
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal) and organisational skills
- Quick learner and efficient time management, able to work well under pressure to deadline
What we can offer you:
- $240 / day – 6-month contract going permanent,
- Office is based in London.
