• After 5 GWs, they have the best xG in the league.
• But they’ve often had to come from behind — something to consider.
• In this order, I’d prioritize:
Ndiaye:
• On penalties
• Averages 11 defensive actions per match
• Cheaper than Grealish
• Will be available for GW8 vs Man City
• With Igor Jesus scoring 4 goals in 2 matches, Chris Wood risks losing his starting spot (could be worth holding one more GW vs Sunderland at your own risk).
• Palmer could be out 3–6 weeks; during this time, Enzo Fernandez (£6.7) might take over penalty duties.

Initially, I wanted to go with Foden but was scared of rotation. Yesterday I swapped Gyökeres for Richarlison, leaving £2.3m in the bank. The plan is to bring Gyökeres back next GW, either instead of Richarlison or João Pedro.
I built the squad with a potential Bench Boost in GW7 in mind, but I’m still not sure if I’ll activate it.
Most Wildcards will look similar because of injuries, form, and DEFCON. Players like Palmer, Saka, and Isak could have provided some differential value. Managers are also realizing it’s better to rely on stable DEFCON machines like Senesi and Tarkowski rather than attacking full-backs.

Apart from Haaland as captain, the only goal contributions came from Bournemouth players. Still, it was a solid rise, and next up is one transfer and Bench Boost
