Hey guys! Quick honest update on why commissions and updates are super delayed these past 3 months:My work phone (the only tool I use for all digital art) is dying. It got exposed to too much heat, and now the touch is messed up, plus there's a huge blue spot/stain that's growing bigger every day — meaning pixels are literally dying and spreading. It's not just cracked; the damage is internal and worsening fast. Fixing the screen might help short-term, but issues keep popping up, and resetting would wipe out ALL my files, refs, WIPs, and past work (no backup place right now).I'm in Brazil working for my family. A reliable new phone for art (good performance, screen, storage) costs me around $1,600 USD here — double what it costs in other countries ($800 or less) because of insane taxes and import fees.Minimum wage is ~$300/month, tips are extremely rare and tiny (barely buys a lollipop if they even happen). My income? Only from commissions — and right now, ZERO sales, not even the emergency/low-price ones. Saving for that phone would mean 8 months of zero spending on food, internet, bills, or family stuff.
