游戏音乐有一个很宝贵的地方就在于，它是一个架构庞大的艺术作品中很小的一部分。所以作曲家必须用尽量少的「声音的量」，来展现那些需要被展现的东西。游戏音乐更不像是「创作」，而是「设计」。怎么用那些已经经典到不能再经典的作曲手法，来打造一种让玩家觉得「好听」，又能够融入进整个游戏语境的音乐。
这是一种高度精炼的东西，不仅仅是在音乐上，也体现在故事、玩法和美术上。但把这些东西全部解构，继承那些最宝贵的遗产并最终重建之后，创造出一种全新的，无可替代的体验。
而当你越是深入了解一个游戏的各个方面，了解那些看似简单的设计，背后复杂的机制和漫长的历史，你才能真正学会去 appreciate 这样一个艺术作品。

至少现在我不觉得苹果会真的出一个 Apple Car。因为所谓「新造车」，关键还是在于电机和电池的技术，这根本不是苹果有把握能拿下来的东西，苹果目前也没有任何在这方面做储备的迹象。
至于「People who are really serious about software should make their own hardware.」这个东西，你要考虑到，对于未来的汽车来说，中控以及配套的传感系统 + AR 挡风玻璃，就已经是这里说的 hardware 了，而动力系统则显然不会是这里 hardware 的一部分。
