💰 Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao revealed that the bitcoin exchange invested $3m in Terra in 2018, generating 15m LUNA.

The investment rose to $1.6bn at its peak, but is worth "not much" after the project collapsed. In all the time, Binance has earned about 12 million UST on the staking.

In order to set an example of protecting users, the platform will ask Terra to compensate retail investors first and Binance itself "last, if ever".
