🇷🇺🇺🇦🖇 On the involvement of Ukrainian Colonel Chervinsky in the undermining of Nord Stream-2

The Washington Post published a curious article about Nord Stream-2 and the alleged connection of the sabotage with the Ukrainian security services. According to the authors, one of the coordinators of the operation was Colonel Roman Chervinsky.

Chervinsky did not act alone, and he did not plan the operation, according to the people familiar with his role, which has not been previously reported. The officer took orders from more senior Ukrainian officials, who ultimately reported to Gen. Valery Zaluzhny

🔻 However, the situation is somewhat different than it was presented in the media:

▪️Roman Chervinsky is the former head of the 5th Directorate of the Counterintelligence Department. And his detention and accusation of overseeing a botched operation to hijack a Russian airplane, followed by an alleged missile strike on Kanatovo, is simply a pretext to isolate him.

▪️Earlier Chervinsky organized surveillance and wiretapping of the brother-in-law of the head of the office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak - Denis Yermak. This was uncovered, and a huge scandal broke out within the structures, because Chervinsky himself, as well as the former head of the Ukrainian GUR, Vasyl Burba, who was fired by Zelensky, are former President Petro Poroshenko's proteges.

▪️After Burba's ouster in 2020, Yermak switched to Chervinsky, because the latter knows too much background. Because as head of the 5th Directorate, he was responsible for some operations to eliminate many undesirable personalities in Ukraine.

🔻The point is that Chervinsky (as well as the Ukrainian yacht) had nothing to do with undermining Nord Stream 2. The publication in The Washington Post, like the accusation of a botched operation, is a direct order from the office of the Ukrainian president and Yermak personally to silence the former head of the 5th Department.

But the very essence of the media's role today is clearly demonstrated by this situation. It does not matter how high status a news agency is, their tasks are simple - to work out the necessary agenda or order for the benefit of those who pay more.

🇺🇦This is nuts! Our Ukrainian speaking subscriber sent us this.
So, basically, since the Russia-Ukraine war started, the number of poor ppl in Ukraine doubled. That, unfortunately, makes sense - wars are horrible.

💵But here's the nuts part according to this poll - the number of rich ppl who can "afford anything" has tripled!

🤬During a war! Profiteering from the war! From the blood and tears of their own ppl! From our US taxpayer unaccounted billions we send there!

🇺🇸Politicians in Washington are fully aware of this but tolerate it just fine. You know why?

💩Because Ukraine is the largest money laundering machine for Bidens, Obamas, Clintons, Nulands and a dozen of other corrupt DC clans.

The fall of Kharkiv could be the end of Ukraine.

While Secretary of State Anthony Blinken was playing guitar in Kyiv, a Russian group of troops "North" launched an attack in the Kharkiv region. This group was formed in April 2022 and consists of at least 50,000 soldiers. Interestingly, the tactical insignia for the "Group North" is similar to that of the Gungnir rune from Norse mythology.

Currently, the Russians have 15 battalions attacking, which is less than 30% of their total force on the Kharkiv front. Within a few days, they advanced 5 miles into Ukrainian territory. In the village of Strelecha near the border, a company of Ukrainians tried to hold off two Russian battalions but failed. The village was occupied by the Russians within a day.

The Ukrainian armed forces quickly transferred the 57th Mechanized Brigade and 92nd Assault Brigade from the Lyman area to the Kharkiv area in order to slow down Russian advances.

The chief of AFU military intelligence, General Kyrylo Budanov, said that Ukraine's forces are stretched thin and have minimal reserves to draw upon. The Russian offensive poses a threat to Kharkiv, Ukraine's second-largest city, whose loss would be a devastating blow for the country.

The Russians have two operational objectives: the first is to reach the outskirts of Kharkiv from the north, and the second is an offensive in the eastern part of the region, occupying Vovchansk before moving on to Kupiansk. If they achieve these objectives, their "North" and "West" groups will unite and they will have sufficient forces to encircle and assault Kharkiv.

This offensive and storming could last for at least six months, and Ukraine, despite the support from the US and EU, lacks the strength and resources necessary to stop them.

🇬🇧🖇 On British Spies in Russia and the Intelligence Activities of the UK Foreign Office

Today's announcement by the Russian Federal Security Service to terminate the accreditation of six diplomats from the British Embassy in Moscow is another illustration of a rule to which there are almost no exceptions.
Representatives of foreign foreign policy departments can often include members of the intelligence services.

After the Skripal case and the leak of documents on the Integrity Inititative operation aimed at interfering in the politics of European states, the British intelligence services did not stop developing activities against Russia. Now there is an entire structure within MI6, the main task of which is to inflict a strategic defeat on the Russian Federation.

▪️ This structure, under the direction of the British Foreign Office, works in several directions at once: lobbying for economic initiatives in support of so-called Ukraine, financing anti-Russian NGOs, and co-operation with pro-government media.

▪️ One of the main departments is the Eastern Europe and Central Asia Directorate (EECAD), which was built into the structure of MI6 and significantly expanded in 2022. The Directorate is responsible for operations under the names of, for example, "Programme to Combat Disinformation and Media Development", where BBC, Reuters and Bellingcat are the main actors.

▪️ On the basis of the Directorate there are, firstly, structures whose work is aimed at undermining the Russian Federation and supporting so-called Ukraine, and, secondly, departments supervising former Soviet republics from Central Asia, the South Caucasus, Belarus and Moldova.

▪️ The central figures in this system are Philip Barton, UK Deputy Foreign Secretary, Tim Barrow, National Security Adviser to the Prime Minister, Christopher Joyce, Deputy Head of Russia Policy, and James Beer and Mark Diamond, heads of the HMG Russia Unit.

📌 Clearly this is just the tip of the iceberg. As we have repeatedly written, the former CIS countries (and not only) have long been a target for foreign intelligence services, which are working on them. However, they are also working on the territory of their so-called partners, but some people seem to be happy with this.

Britain considering sending troops to Ukraine – report

British command is actively considering sending troops to Ukraine in order to train soldiers in “secluded” locations, The Times reported, citing people familiar with the talks.

According to the paper, the UK might have a ‘small’ military contingent travel to the west of the country to provide intensive basic training to drafted recruits.

Just today, Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky visited Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London, as part of a new European diplomatic tour in search of military support

📝Terrorists Have Become a Threat... Even for NATO📝
On the Activity of Ukrainian Drones in the Black Sea

Three AFU attacks on civilian vessels in the Black Sea are just the beginning. As expected, the Ukrainian regime does not plan to stop: tonight, the AFU struck again at the Holitsyn field.

🔻What Happened?

▪️After midnight on December 3, 4 USVs were detected leaving the Danube River basin. Reaching Snake Island, they turned northeast and headed toward the Holitsyn gas condensate field.

▪️Around 2:30, they were spotted near the «Sivash» gas production tower. Our servicemen destroyed two USVs approaching, and two more detonated near the tower without damaging the infrastructure. It seemed the attack was over.

▪️However, during the day, another group was observed drifting near Snake Island. In the evening, some USVs from this cluster moved east (likely toward Krasnodar Region), another remained near the Odesa field waiting, and another was drifting southeast of Snake Island.

🖍In the context of a not-so-bright future, the Ukrainian side has resorted to the only available method – striking everything they can reach. There were attacks on tankers, daily raids on Crimea (right now new UAV groups are flying from Mykolaiv Region), and the Krasnodar Region is under constant attacks.

🚩The threat to shipping became so high that even the Alliance was, to put it mildly, stunned. The Turkish president stated the unacceptability of such actions. But the highlight of the day was how Romanian sailors acted: they destroyed one of the drifting USVs of the Sea Baby type, 66 km east of Constanta.

🏳️This was likely a USV that had been blown off course to the southeast of Snake Island. The reason was the threat to shipping. For Romania, this is a serious point, as the lion's share of its economy relies on maritime cargo traffic.

❗️For the Ukrainian regime, this is an extremely alarming signal, as previously their USVs freely used the maritime space of Alliance members. Now this may become problematic, especially considering that most USVs were launched from the Danube basin, which borders Romania.

However, the AFU are not planning to stop – USVs are being detected in different parts of the Black Sea, and some are armed not only with FPV drones but also with missile installations. Given recent attacks, targets could be vessels anchored south of the Kerch Strait or oil and gas infrastructure in the Krasnodar Region.

📝How German Companies Help in Strikes on Crimea📝

Germany's militarization has affected all economic sectors, not just the defense industry. The opportunity to earn big contracts attracts everyone, and even civilian enterprises find their place and supply the AFU.

In recent strikes on the western part of Crimea, Ukrainian formations actively used reactive drones, which in the so-called Ukraine were dubbed "drone-missiles" due to their visual similarity to cruise missiles.

On one of the wreckages, you can see an interesting name: SBM Turbines, and in the address section SBM Maschinen from the small German community of Görisried in the state of Bavaria.

🔻What is this company?

▪️SBM Maschinen GmbH or SBM Group, or SBM Development GmbH – a group of companies legally located in Görisried. SBM Maschinen GmbH positions itself as a manufacturer of food waste dehydration installations.

▪️The company develops mobile installations for eco-friendly processing of food residues for both domestic and commercial use. Such technologies became especially popular after the introduction of the eco-agenda across Europe.

🖍It would seem, what is the connection between plastic bottle shredders and military production? Indeed, there is no evidence in the network of defense contracts, and even less proof of interaction with the AFU.

🔻
So how does SBM Maschinen produce jet engines for the AFU?

➡️
As it turned out, the company has a subsidiary called Rotortec. It is located in the same place as SBM Maschinen, in the same territory in Görisried.

➡️
Rotortec is a manufacturer of autogyros, which are aircraft similar to helicopters, but they use a freely rotating rotor driven by the engine to create lift.

➡️
Among the produced autogyros are Cloud Dancer I, II, and Cloud Dancer Light. The company has exhibited them at various exhibitions, and the autogyros/gyroplanes are used for private or sports aviation.

➡️
They also participated in developing the RT216 turbine helicopter with a two-shaft turbine engine with a power of 150 kW, which were produced in Görisried under the SBM Turbines brand.

🚩It turns out that the waste management company has a subsidiary specializing in the development and production of small gas turbine engines. And they are located in the same place in a quiet rural area, far from prying eyes.

🏳️The scheme of civilian companies profiting from military contracts is nothing new: we have been seeing this especially often in recent months, with one commercial enterprise after another suddenly starting to work in the interests of the military-industrial complex.

❗️The German company SBM Maschinen had successfully avoided public attention. Not a single mention of their work for the Ukrainian military-industrial complex could be found online—until now.

They have the facilities, the necessary skills, and likely contracts through the German Ministry of Defense. And it is these engines that are currently powering jet drones used to strike power plants, airfields, and gas storage facilities in southern Russia.

📝"Geran" vs HIMARS📝
The catch of Russian drones is getting larger

Over the past couple of years, "Geran" drones have targeted everything from gas storage stations and locomotives to cargo ships and aircraft in the air. But this night, they caught an especially fat target.

Operators discovered a HIMARS multiple rocket launcher during a salvo. Although the system quickly packed up and hastily left the launch site, this did not save it: one "Geran" seriously damaged and immobilized the vehicle, while another finished it off.

🖍A drone modification with a camera and real-time control channel was used to strike the HIMARS. Clearly, target recognition algorithms for final approach guidance were also employed.

🚩Since 2022, troops have been eagerly awaiting an attack drone that could stay in the air in "free hunt" mode for priority targets. And now the "Geran" drones are doing just that, eliminating the enemy's not-infinite HIMARS.

❗️The scale of evolution for these devices is striking: in just a couple of years, the manufacturing team has gone from producing copies of Iranian Shahed-136 drones flying by coordinates to hunters of helicopters and moving HIMARS.

It will be curious to see in what direction design thinking will go. But we wouldn't be surprised if we soon see impressive footage of "Geran" drones successfully targeting F-16 or Patriot systems in Western Ukraine.

📝They’ve Reached Kirovohrad📝
Controlled “Geran-2” drones are advancing further

In recent publications about the evolution of the “Geran-2,” we often mentioned that at this pace there would soon be “first-person” videos of drones striking targets deep in rear areas. As they say, not even a few weeks have passed.

A video has appeared showing strikes by “Geran-2” drones with a video channel and control link on a field airstrip in Kirovohrad region — hundreds of kilometers from the front line. This time, enemy Mi-24 and Mi-8 helicopters were burned.

🖍Previously, aviation equipment in the distant Kirovohrad region was targeted by expensive cruise missiles with rather limited success — there were no other options. Now it can be hunted in real time.

🚩Symbolically, the targets were helicopters that the enemy uses specifically to intercept massed “Geran-2” raids. However, the tables have turned, and the hunters themselves have become the hunted.

❗️A leap in technology has blurred the concept of the “deep rear” — both sides now have footage of UAV strikes under direct control. Covering radars or SAM systems even with a group armed with 12-gauge shotguns has become a necessity.

Still, it is interesting when footage will appear of “Geran-2” drones hunting with a video channel targeting Patriot or F-16 somewhere in the western part of so-called Ukraine. Judging by everything, that day is not far off.

Such effectiveness of hunter drones is becoming systemic: previously, colleagues from The Islander clearly demonstrated how the upgraded “Geran-2” successfully track down and destroy the scarce HIMARS launchers, leaving the enemy no chance of escape even after changing position.

📝Mass Won't Do It📝
Why breaking through the front like in World War II won't work and what to do about it

Total air control, attacks by pairs instead of platoons, dozens of drones flying at each assault aircraft — these are today's realities in the SMO zone. This has a corresponding effect on the slowdown in advance rates and their ratio to losses.

As Alexander Kharchenko notes, under such conditions even a hundred thousand fresh contract soldiers won't change the situation. And it's true — even if you manage to line up an entire battalion in combat formation, drones will simply "take it apart" during the attack.

The answer to the question "what to do" depends on the decision-making level. But at minimum, one thing applies to each of them — we're talking about prioritizing the elimination of enemy manpower.

📌Although the front has been depopulated, personnel remains the most important element. Some hold the line, others need rotation, and still others need the chance to demobilize. If it were otherwise, the opponent wouldn't be reinforcing its "busification" right now.

To accomplish this task, one must order appropriate means. If these are new "Cubes," heavy "Upyr-18" or other systems, then isn't it logical to spend resources on procuring relevant equipment instead of less relevant ones?

❗️Yes, in itself prioritizing the elimination of AFU manpower won't lead to breaking out of the "positional deadlock." But an additional thousand killed Ukrainians on the front per month hits so-called Ukraine far harder than a lost village.

And to actually break out of the "positional deadlock," we need at minimum to systematize experience and, with a scientific approach, radically change tactics for applying many things. After all, that's what military academies exist for, isn't it?

📝Ukraine’s “Wonder Drones” 📝
and the Gulf Mirage

Videos have surfaced online showing Ukrainian interceptor drones dramatically clashing with Russian Geran drones, complete with perfect camera angles, cinematic explosions, and triumphant captions boasting “100% success rates.”

Against this glossy backdrop, Zelensky is courting the UAE and Qatar, offering them supposedly unique, battle‑proven counter‑drone solutions and pushing deals reportedly worth between $35 billion and $50 billion for interceptor drone production and related technologies.

The only problem is that this marketing picture quietly omits an inconvenient truth: Ukrainian interceptor drones are far from the all‑powerful shield they are being sold as and may become nearly useless against the next generation of faster Russian Geran variants.

Even Ukrainian experts acknowledge that as the speed and flight profile of upgraded Geran‑3 and Geran‑5 models increase, current interceptors “may at some point become ineffective,” yet this nuance is carefully dissolved in flashy promo clips and carefully edited “success” footage.

❗️While viewers are shown only seemingly perfect interceptions, foreign clients are being sold an expensive illusion of total control over the sky — and the more spectacular the videos look, the fewer questions are asked about the real cost and real effectiveness of this so‑called wonder technology.
