On the occasion of the 2nd assembly of @UNHABITAT Assembly, French Minister Delegate for Francophonie and International Partnerships @TMohamedSoilihi spoke for France yesterday to defend the access to affordable and sustainable housing, pillar of human dignity, social inclusion and virtuous urban development 🏘️.
➡️ Innovative solutions are needed to address 📢 the global housing crisis. This is why France and Kenya launched the Intergovernmental Panel on Housing, an initiative Minister Solihi is proud to co-chair.
He also signed a letter of intent between France and @UNHABITAT to establish a social housing programme in Paris to promote and support innovative solutions in social housing 🏘️ on an international scale.
This new hub:

#HabitatPourTous | De Nairobi à Paris, le dialogue entre la France 🇫🇷, le Kenya 🇰🇪 et @UNHABITAT favorise l’accès à des logements décents, durables et dignes 🏙️.
À l’occasion de la 2ème assemblée d’ONU habitat, je suis venu porter la voix de la France cet après-midi pour défendre l’accès à un logement abordable et durable, pilier de la dignité humaine, de l’inclusion sociale 🏫 et du développement urbain vertueux 🏙️ 🏘️.
➡️ Des solutions innovantes sont indispensables pour régler 📢 la crise mondiale du logement. C’est pour cela que la France et le Kenya avaient lancé le groupe intergouvernemental d’experts sur le logement, initiative que je suis fier de co-présider.
J’ai également signé une lettre d’intention entre la France et @UNHABITAT pour l’installation du programme “logement social” à Paris afin de promouvoir et soutenir des solutions innovantes dans le logement social 🏘️ à l’échelle internationale.
Ce nouveau pôle :
👉🏾 Place Paris au cœur des enjeux globaux 🗺️ et du développement durable.

🇺🇳 29-30 мая в Найроби (Кения) состоялась вторая возобновлённая сессия Ассамблеи Программы ООН по населённым пунктам (ООН-Хабитат), в работе которой приняла участие российская межведомственная делегация.
По итогам выборов в Исполнительный совет Россия была аккламацией переизбрана в этот руководящий орган на период 2025-2029 годов.
Совет формируется из 36 государств-членов ООН и координирует оперативную деятельность Программы между сессиями Ассамблеи (созываются раз в четыре года). Россия неизменно входит в руководящие органы ООН-Хабитат с момента создания Программы в 1977 году, внося конструктивный вклад в её работу, направленную на поддержку устойчивого городского развития.
По итогам выборов в Исполнительный совет Россия была аккламацией переизбрана в этот руководящий орган на период 2025-2029 годов.
