Ahmed Moallim Fiqi Ahmed, received on Monday at his office Mr. Rahmon Adebayo, the newly appointed interim Special Representative of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission (SRCC) for Somalia, where he congratulated him on his appointment, expressed his willingness to strengthen collaboration, and to work closely with him.
The discussions during the meeting focused on advancing security collaboration, supporting ongoing military efforts against the Al-Shabaab terrorist group, and exploring opportunities to deepen coordination between the Federal Government of Somalia and the African Union Support and Stabilisation Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM).
