Moshiach’s Meal Held at the Kyiv Jewish Community

On April 20, right after the conclusion of the Passover holiday, the KEDEM Kyiv Jewish Community hosted the traditional Moshiach’s Meal.

The rabbi recited a blessing over wine in a special cup, and everyone had the opportunity to drink from it. This ancient custom carries spiritual power, offering wishes for goodness, a healthy summer, and light throughout the upcoming period after Passover.

Following the official part of the gathering, filled with the words of Torah and inspiration, the participants joined together in dancing and singing — an age-old tradition emphasizing that the freedom gained on Passover continues to live on: in the heart, in daily life, and within the community.

FJCU Passover Camp 5785: A Celebration That Reunited Hundreds of Families

Throughout the holiday, over 300 participants from different countries gathered at Machne Chabad on Lake Balaton to celebrate Passover together.

The program included:
• traditional Seders,
• educational sessions,
• children’s activities,
all in an atmosphere of warmth, unity, and community.

Matzah for the holiday meals was baked in Ukraine — at the Tifferet Matzo bakery — and specially delivered to the camp.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who made this camp possible:
our partners at EMIH, the Hungarian government, our incredible volunteers, and all those who created a sense of home for each participant.
