From Chernihiv to Pryluky: Communities Strengthening One Another
The Jewish community of Chernihiv continues its systematic support for smaller communities across the region. Alongside Chernihiv itself, regular assistance is also provided to Pryluky, Nizhyn, Novhorod-Siverskyi, Sosnytsia and other towns.
This time, the representatives of the community visited Pryluky to deliver humanitarian aid to local residents. During the visit, they also laid the groundwork for further cooperation with the Municipal Cultural Centre, as the two sides signed a memorandum of cooperation.
As part of the agreement, a Youth club is expected to open in Pryluky in the near future, creating a new space for communication, personal development and joint initiatives.
The work continues, with Nizhyn set to become the next community to welcome the delegation.

Living Memory That Shapes the Future
Hersh Fraierman, the Head of the Jewish Community of Rivne, the rescue worker at the site of the Chernobyl disaster, and the member of the presidium of the Rivne Regional Organization of the Union of Chernobyl of Ukraine, visited Rivne Lyceum No. 27.
He was invited to the meeting with the senior students not only as an honoured guest, but as a bearer of living history, a history not learned from textbooks, but lived through personally.
He spoke about Chernobyl: about fear and courage, about responsibility and choice, about those moments when a person stands face to face with catastrophe and has no right to step back.
Year after year, Mr Fraierman carries on his important mission reaching out to young people so that the truth may live on, memory may never fade, and the lessons of the past may help build a conscious and responsible future.

Romny: When Good Actions Speak Louder Than Words
In Romny, RVC volunteers joined an important initiative as part of the International Day of Good Deeds, - the cleaning and restoration of the Jewish cemetery.
This is far more than simply tidying the grounds. It is about preserving history, honouring those who came before us, and showing humanity and responsibility toward future generations. Every cleared pathway, every restored corner, is another step towards safeguarding memory and dignity.
The past lives on as long as people continue to care for it. Through care, respect, and shared effort, a bridge between generations is created.
