Intel’s $20B Stock Sale Was So Oversubscribed, 1 in 3 Investors Got Nothing
Intel’s upsized $20 billion share offering attracted demand several times greater than the number of shares available.
About 33% of investors who placed orders received zero shares, according to people familiar with the deal.
The 10 largest investors took 55% of the shares, while the top 25 received roughly 80%.
The massive demand signals strong investor appetite for Intel’s AI ambitions and marks one of the chipmaker’s biggest capital raises.

Oil Gives Back Gains as US-Iran Deal Hopes Grow
Oil prices erased an earlier 3% jump as Pakistan signaled that the U.S. and Iran may be close to an arrangement to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
WTI traded below $82 a barrel, while Brent hovered around $88, as traders weighed hopes for restored shipping against escalating regional tensions.
The Strait of Hormuz normally carries about one-fifth of global oil and gas flows, making its reopening critical for global energy markets.
But attacks and disruptions from Iran to the Red Sea and Russia continue to threaten supplies, keeping oil markets highly volatile.

TikTok Ban Lifted on U.S. Government Devices
The Trump administration has lifted restrictions on TikTok’s use across federal government devices, saying the app no longer poses a national security threat.
The decision follows a January deal transferring control of TikTok’s U.S. operations from ByteDance to a consortium led by Oracle and Silver Lake.
The Justice Department says the U.S. version is now majority American-owned and operates independently of ByteDance.
The move marks a dramatic reversal after years of Washington treating TikTok as a potential national security risk.

US Natural Gas Prices Hold Steady as Traders Await Stronger Demand
U.S. natural gas futures barely moved, with September contracts at around $2.80/MMBtu as traders looked for fresh bullish signals.
Hotter-than-normal weather across the South could boost demand, but high production and weaker LNG demand are limiting gains.
Lower-48 gas production is running near 112 Bcf/day, up about 2.3% year over year. For now, the market remains caught between rising summer heat and abundant supply, leaving prices largely range-bound.
