The young and brilliant Raji Ashenafi Mamade is an academic phenomenon. This pure genius was born and raised in rural Wollega. He is one of the graduates of this year’s (2022) batch from Adama Science and Technology University (ASTU). It is reported that he graduated with the highest grade in the country by scoring A+ in all his university courses/units — 60 of them!
He did a double major in his undergrad degree — Maths and Physics. Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), the prestigious university in the U.S., has offered him a full scholarship to pursue his Ph.D.
I wish him all the best and I hope he will be back to his country after completing his education at MIT.
