• ሥራ፣ የልምላሜና የዕድገት ምልክት ነው፡፡
👉ቢጫው
• የተስፋ፣ የፍትሕና የእኩልነት ምልክት ነው፡፡
👉ቀዩ
• ለነፃነትና ለእኩልነት መስፈን የሚደረግ የመስዋዕትነትና የጀግንነት ምልክት ነው፡፡
እንዲሁም በሰንደቅ ዓላማው መሀል ላይ የሚገኘው ዓርማ ትርጉም :-
👉ክብ የሆነው፡- ሰማያዊ መደብ ሰላምን ያመለክታል፡፡
👉ቀጥታና እኩል የሆኑት መስመሮች፡- የብሔሮች፣ ብሔረሰቦችና ሕዝቦች እንዲሁም የሐይማኖቶችን እኩልነት ያመለክታሉ፡፡
👉ቀጥታና እኩል ከሆኑት መስመሮች የተዋቀረው ኮከብ፡- የኢትዮጵያ ብሔሮች፣ ብሔረሰቦችና ሕዝቦች በመፈቃቀድ የመሠረቱትን አንድነት ያመላክታል፡፡
👉ቢጫ ጨረሩ ደግሞ ፡- በመፈቃቀድ አንድነት ለመሰረቱት ብሔር፣ ብሔረሰቦች የፈነጠቀውን ብሩህ ተስፋ ይጠቁማል፡፡
