So I graduated.
Here are a few things I wanna say for those joining college.
1. College is more about the people you meet and friendship than the coursework. Make sure to make friends that push you forward in your career and would make a great support system in life in general.
2. No matter how our gen makes it seem cool not to study for exams pls just study. Always live with the thought process that you need to be an over achiver in what ever you pursue.
3. Don't get comfortable just cause you got a head start than most people. You could easily fall behind if you don't keep pushing yourself.
4. It's OK to make career changes, college is the time for those evolutions.
And finally Yes I def would recommend HiLCoE if you're considering to join a private institution. I don't think I have much to complain other than it got chaotic and hectic at times.

Congratulations, Mike!! I'm sooo happy for you, and I pray this journey opens doors you never even imagined. May Allah put blessing in every step you take. Go learn, build, grow, and make us proud!!
But there's another person I really wanna talk about...
A friend who stayed by Mike's side the whole week, day and night, until the very last second of his departure.
And you know what amazes me the most? The way he gets excited about his friends' success, sometimes even more than they do themselves.
Like, how beautiful is it to have someone who genuinely celebrates your wins as if they were his own? Someone who shows up, stays, supports, and doesn't leave until the very last goodbye?
May Allah preserve such friendships and grant us hearts that genuinely rejoice in the success of others.
And finallyyyy...
May your morning bring you opportunities like Mike's and friendships like Fuad's.
