☀️ Good morning, dear traders!

⚡️ China is evaluating US trade talks after Trump’s century-high tariff hike. Markets reacted, with the HK50 up over 1%, offshore yuan climbing 0.3%, and factory output falling to its worst since December 2023.

🍎 Apple’s Q2 revenue rose 5% to $95.4B, and iPhone sales hit $46.8B, but China sales dropped 2.3% to $16B, and $900M in new tariff costs rattled investors, sending shares down as much as 4.2%.

🛢 Shell kept its $3.5B buyback and spending plans intact despite oil falling to $59.59, as Q1 cash flow sank 29% to $9.28B and net debt rose to $41.52B, but earnings still beat forecasts at $5.58B.

🚗 GM cut its 2025 earnings forecast by up to $5B due to Trump’s auto tariffs, lowering adjusted EBIT guidance to $10–$12.5B from $13.7–$15.7B, while still planning $10–$11B in capital spending and aiming to offset 30% of tariff costs through supply chain shifts and US part sourcing.

🍔McDonald’s US same-store sales dropped 3.6% in Q1—the steepest decline since Q2 2020—missing revenue estimates at $5.96B vs. $6.09B, as cautious low- and middle-income consumers pulled back amid inflation and new tariffs.

❓How to trade AB=CD pattern?

🟢The AB=CD is a form of a basic harmonic pattern ABCD. The pattern consists of 3 price swings. The lines AB and CD have exactly the same length. As a result, AB and CD have the same angle. This ABCD pattern type is often seen and is popular among traders.

📈 How to trade AB=CD pattern?

1️⃣Study the chart looking at the price’s highs and lows. Using a ZigZag indicator (Insert – Indicators – Custom – ZigZag) that marks the chart’s swings may be helpful.

2️⃣Watch the price as it forms AB and BC. Notice that a 61.8% retracement at point C tends to result in the 161.8% projection of CD. After reaching the D level at 161.8%, you can expect a reversal toward the 38.2% retracement of AD. This is going to be our first take profit.
