☄️ In June, the US budget deficit fell 3.5 times from last year to $65.965 billion, and over nine months of the fiscal year, it decreased by 9% to $1.268 trillion.

🇪🇺 The European Central Bank will proceed cautiously with rate cuts, likely resuming in September, due to political uncertainties, including the November 2024 US presidential election.

🇨🇳 China's GDP growth likely slowed to 5% in Q2 from 5.3% in Q1, adding pressure on leaders ahead of a critical economic meeting to address the housing crisis and tech sector issues.

🇯🇵 The yen slipped 0.2% on Friday as the impact of suspected intervention faded, raising uncertainty about the Bank of Japan's July 31 policy decision. USDJPY is trading at 159.224.

☄️ Federal Reserve Chair Jerome Powell stated that recent economic data has increased confidence that inflation will reach the 2% target, potentially allowing interest rate cuts soon.

🥇 Gold edged closer to a record high, trading just below $2,430 per ounce, as traders bet on three US Federal Reserve interest rate cuts this year.

🇳🇿 New Zealand's slowing inflation, with a Q2 annual rate of 3.4%, below the central bank's 3.6% forecast, may prompt the Reserve Bank to consider interest rate cuts soon. NZDUSD is currently trading at 0.6057.

🇨🇳 China's central bank injected 674 billion yuan ($93 billion) into the banking system, the most since January, to ensure liquidity amid tax payments and heightened focus on policy rates during the Third Plenum.

⛽️ This summer's heatwave has pushed Asia's LNG prices, the highest since December 2023 and 1.5 times higher than early March.

🇯🇵 Japan reiterated its readiness to counter excessive yen volatility, warning against sharp falls after suspected interventions totaling 3.57 trillion yen ($22.51 billion) briefly boosted the yen by 3% to 157.40 per dollar.
