💵USD strengthened to the highest level in a year. Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer said on Wednesday that lawmakers had reached an agreement to avoid a government shutdown on Friday, extending government spending until Dec. 3. In addition, traders still digest the shift toward more hawkish policy from the Federal Reserve.
📉New Zealand dollar was among the biggest losers to the USD. The euro declined to a 10-month low. Japanese yen reached its lowest level against the greenback since February 2020.
🇨🇳China’s factory activity contracted in September for the first time since the pandemic began last year, a sign of the damage a widespread electricity crunch is having on an already slowing economy.
✔S&P (US500) recovered from support at 4350 (100-day Moving Average). Above 4400, the focus will be on 4430.
☑Brent oil is hovering around $77.80 a barrel. US crude inventories rose by more than anticipated, even as OPEC plans to maintain its deliberate approach to adding supply to the market.

What do you usually do before opening a trade? We have created a checklist – things you should do before entering a currency pair trade. It will help you to leave emotions aside, stick to the trading plan, and be confident!👨💻
1. Check that you have downloaded the FBS Trader app or/and MetaTrader 5 or/and MetaTrader 4.
2. Major currency pairs are available for trading from 00:00 to 23:59 GMT+3.
3. Open the charts of the currency pairs that you’re interested in.
4. Add your favorite technical indicator to the chart. Moving averages or Bollinger Bands will be a good choice. While MA can highlight possible support and resistance levels, BB can help to distinguish whether the stock is overbought or oversold. You can replace these indicators with RSI and Fibonacci indicators or combine all these instruments if you are a real guru 😉
5. Look for economic releases that can affect the currency market: political and economic leaders' statements, economic data reports, changes in monetary policy, etc.
6. Remember that you can open both buy and sell trades. If the currency price is overbought or some negative news comes out, consider selling. Alternatively, if the currency price is oversold or some optimistic news comes out, consider buying.
7. Make sure your portfolio is well-diversified: use currencies of various countries (EUR/USD, CAD/JPY).

What will happen?
Core PCE Price Index will be announced at 15:30 MT (GMT+3) on Friday, October 1.
The index is different from Core CPI as it only measures goods and services targeted towards and consumed by individuals. Prices are weighted according to total expenditure per item which gives important insights into consumer spending behavior. This is rumored to be the Federal Reserve's favorite inflation measure. Last time the result met the expectations, but GBP/USD rose, as the result was lower than the previous one.
