🏦 BofA raised its year end 2026 forecast for the 10 year US Treasury yield to 5% from 4.5%. The bank also raised its forecast for 2 year yields to 5%, citing inflation, fiscal and geopolitical risks.

📉 US Treasuries came under heavy selling pressure again. The 10 year Treasury yield climbed above 5.1%, while the 30 year yield reached its highest level since 2004. Rising oil prices are adding to inflation concerns and expectations for further Fed rate hikes.

⚠️ Iran expects a new wave of conflict, calling it “inevitable.” Middle East experts report that nuclear facilities and energy infrastructure could be among the potential targets. Israeli officials also believe renewed strikes on Iran are only a matter of time.

🔥 US natural gas gained around 7%, while oil jumped roughly 4%. Markets are reacting to new Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia and growing risks of energy supply disruptions. Brent briefly gained more than 5% on Thursday.
