What is it?

🔓 A trailing stop is a dynamic stop-loss that automatically follows the price in a profitable direction. If the market turns, it locks in your gains.

How it works (example):

1️⃣ You buy at $100
2️⃣ You set a trailing stop of $10
3️⃣ Price rises to $115 → stop moves up to $105
4️⃣ Price falls to $105 → trade closes
5️⃣ Result: you lock in $5 profit — no manual action needed

Pros:

➕ Secures and multiplies your profits

➕ Great for trending markets

Cons:

➖ Can trigger too early in volatile conditions
➖ Less effective in sideways markets
