⛓️ Support & Resistance Levels: Simple Explanation

Support and resistance are key price zones where the market has previously reacted, reversing, pausing, or accumulating orders. These areas show where traders think an asset is overvalued (resistance) or undervalued (support).

🟥 A level is not a thin line — it’s a zone.

Local highs/lows may not hit the exact same price, and that’s normal. The zone usually equals the size of an average recent candle.
These zones are called liquidity areas because this is where most traders make decisions.

🙂‍↔️ Support:
A zone where buyers are likely to step in and prevent further price decline.

😞 Resistance:
A zone where sellers are likely to stop price growth.

🔄 Mirror Levels.
If the price breaks a level and consolidates above/below, support can turn into resistance, and resistance can become support. These “mirror levels” are very common and highly reliable.

🧲 Levels typically form after:

🟢Price reversal points;
🟢Sideways trading/accumulation;
🟢Repeated tests, price keeps “respecting” the zone;
🟢High-volume areas;
🟢Abnormal candles with increased volume.

📖 Support and resistance levels are the foundation of technical trading. Almost every trader starts by learning how these zones work.

A brief overview of US.Dollar:

💵 UsDollar (DXY) has broken the local uptrend level but is currently trying to return to it. The asset is testing the resistance level at 99.52.

🔼 If the price breaks 99.52 and returns to the uptrend, a rise toward 100.20 can be expected.

🔽 However, if the price fails to break the resistance and instead breaks the support level at 99.23, the decline may continue toward 98.60.
