A pregnant woman, Chinelo Francis, was allegedly brutalized by her husband, Peter, in Ichi, Ekwusigo LGA of Anambra State in a suspected domestic violence incident.
According to Chinelo, the disagreement started after she asked her husband for money to prepare food. Peter reportedly said he had not made any money that day and later demanded that she close her shop and return home with him. She refused, explaining that the evening period was usually when she made most of her sales.
She eventually closed her shop around 9:30 p.m., returned home, settled the children, and went to bed. Chinelo said the assault occurred later that night, leaving her with serious injuries that required hospitalization. Reports indicate that Peter fled the community after the attack.

Jealous Woman Arrested for K+lling her Co-Wife’s Daughter in Benue A woman identified as Erdoo Nancy has been arrested for allegedly k+lling her co-wife’s child in Ankyoor community, Gwer East Local Government Area of Benue State.
