✅ میکلانجلو آن را بین سال‌های 1501 تا 1504 آفریده است. او هنگام رونمایی از این اثر فقط 29 سال داشت!

✅ داوود از یک قطعه سنگ مرمر سفید کارارا تراشیده شده است.

✅ ارتفاع خود مجسمه 517 سانتی‌متر و ارتفاع آن با پایه 746 سانتی متر است.

✅ این پیکره به همراه پایه‌ی آن حدود 5560 کیلوگرم وزن است!

✅ این اثر در سال 1504 در مقابل کاخ وکیو (کاخ شورای شهر فلورانس) نصب شد و پس از حدود 369 سال، در سال 1873 به گالری آکادمی این شهر منتقل شد.

✅ این مجسمه در مالکیت هیچ شخص، موزه یا گالری هنری قرار ندارد. مالک این اثر ارزشمند، دولت ایتالیا است.
