Still kinda blows my mind that women fought for the right to experience this

If you get mistreated here you can go to HR, quit immediately, or sometimes sue. You have set hours and you get to leave. There are clear obligations and clear compensation. You are not subject to the whims of a personal oligarch who you just have to hope stays benevolent forever.

Excluding the crucial fact that office jobs pay you an income….if staying home to raise children and do chores and bake bread was really so much easier and more joyful than working in an office on some objective level, why aren’t men doing it? Why aren’t they chomping at the bit to be ~leisurely house husbands~ to a working wife? Why aren’t they stepping up to depend solely on someone else’s income in exchange for round-the-clock domestic labor, if it’s really as blissful and their propaganda suggests? Curious. source

Contrary to popular belief the biggest beginner's roadblock to art isn't even technical skill it's frustration tolerance, especially in the age of social media. It hurts and the frustration is endless but you must build the frustration tolerance equivalent to a roach's capacity to survive a nuclear explosion. That's how you build on the technical skill. Throw that "won't even start because I'm afraid it won't be perfect" shit out the window. Just do it. Just start. Good luck. source

I'm not "freaking out." Can't you see how unnaturally still and silent I am? Could someone who was "freaking out" be this rigid? This uncomfortably quiet? Yeah, didn't think so. source

source
