Guysss, meet Ender, he's an 11-year-old kid (well, he's 12 now) and has been working on this animation for ALMOST HALF A YEAR, using all his breaks and weekends to draw out 3000+ frames!!!

He uses a mobile app called Flipaclip to draw out each frame ONE BY ONE using a touch sensitive pen. He's been using this as a learning experience and he did learn a lot of principles. He's been talking to me showing off his progress these past few weeks.

I made a challenge last week... tldr: make a poster or billboard. The whole prompt was about AI, made by AI. I made it sound as creepy as possible. So in that fashion, the submissions were also made by AI 😂😂 shout out to Exodus Tola

Okay I think I've got the challenge idea fully fleshed out... I had been planning the whole thing for a while and it's ready now. Feedback is appreciated! 🙏 It's a bit strict but allows creative freedom.

My main specialty as a motion designer is making intros. Like, I make intros for a living 😂. Most of my work in eyuelzero.com/portfolio are all intros and logo animations. So this first animation challenge is a typography animation challenge disguised as an intro. Enjoy!!! (I'll post it when this reaches 100 views)

This week’s prompt is a bit more exciting than last time. Your task: make a 3-second intro using your name. Simple, but packed with creative freedom. Deadline is in 6 days (accommodating for students). Submit your work in the comment section of this post 👇 and we'll see each other on Sunday!

Here’s the breakdown:

🎨 FREEDOMS:
🔸 Use any software you want: After Effects, Blender, Flipaclip, Premiere (what?), Figma, Movie Maker… whatever gets the job done.
🔸 Style it however you want: funky fonts, flashy 3D backgrounds, hand-drawn vibes, you're allowed to go wild.
🔸 The example video is 60fps, but feel free to drop it to 30, 24, 12, or even 6fps if that suits your style.

✅ REQUIREMENTS:
🔸 Change the name to your own (first name or nickname).
🔸 Your name needs to be clear and visible in the center of your design.
🔸 Follow these exact timings:
- 0s: Start with a black screen.
- 0s–1s: Animate the background in.
- 1s: Background should be fully visible (light animations can continue).
- 1s–2s: Animate your name in.
- 2s: Name is fully visible.
- ~2.8s: Fade out to black.
🔸 Use the sound from the example video just as is. You can layer extras, but the included sounds are enough.

📦 RENDER SPECS:
🔸1080 x 1080 px (square)
🔸.mp4 / H.264 format
🔸 5 Mbps bitrate (aim for ~1MB file size)
🔸 Exactly 3 seconds long

Use the attached example video for reference. I know it's a simple video but it shows everything with a timecode overlay for precise syncing.

I know... 6 days is a lot of time. I also know a lot of you can get it done in just a day or two but most of you are younger than me so I assume you're probably in school, extra work or whatever.

Also, it's a simple prompt but I want you to push your own limits. Work on it as soon as you can. Reminder: even if you're a beginner, the community is excited to see your work!
