Beyond Positive Energy Districts: cutting edge approaches and stories from the forefront
Truly sustainable houses, districts and cities are needed now more than ever to not only mitigate, but especially adapt to climate change effects. Within this session, we’ll explore theoretical frameworks for net positive development strategies at first. Then we’ll learn from a university students led experience in building a NZEB Living Lab, adaptive to significant structural changes over time to accommodate technological developments of the main components. Finally, we’ll hear from a cutting-edge model for deeply sustainable and regenerative cities in different regions of the world, raising the bar for future urban planning.

[⚡️YEE Workshop♻️]
Youth and Environment Europe is delighted to invite you to attend the online workshop "Nuclear Waste Management and the Intergenerational Aspects", on Friday 10th of December from 10:00-12:00 AM CEST.
If interested, please register here: https://bit.ly/3podG9J
THE WORKSHOP BACKGROUND
The challenges of nuclear energy are long-lived and inherited to future generations, having significant impacts on the welfare and sustainability of upcoming generations. Achieving intergenerational equity is one of the cornerstones of nuclear waste management but given the highly technical level of the debate and the lack of access for young people to nuclear issues, this still remains vague.
The workshop agenda is structured to provide viewpoints on the issue of nuclear waste and intergenerational aspects, from the angles of decision-making, technical and youth lens.
Join YEE at this interactive workshop, with Mrs Jutta Paulus, MEP; Mrs Eszter Matyas, researcher on environmental and nuclear issues. For further details, please do find the workshop agenda in the following message.
YEE would be pleased to have your insights and standpoints in this workshop. Thank you and feel free to circulate this invitation with your personal networks!
