👉 The "Youth for Energy Futures" program aims to enable European youth to identify solutions to meet this challenge by giving the opportunity to a group of 12 young adults from France, Germany and Italy to participate in a process of reflection nourished by study trips to their three countries. Field visits and meetings with committed actors will allow them to discover the diversity of contexts in which the socially just energy and ecological transition must take place, to grasp in a concrete way the questions that arise in each country and to imagine solutions.

🗣Carlos Rojas is a Product and Technology Strategist, with 20+ years of experience in the High-Performance Computing and Artificial Intelligence systems industry, working in companies like Silicon Graphics, Hewlett Packard Enterprise, and multiple start-ups. Carlos ‘retired’ last year and joined the InnoEnergy program in Energy Technologies (M.Sc. ENTECH) to start a new path in his professional career.
🎙In this presentation, we will discuss:

📌 The IRENA Youth Forum will take place in Abu Dhabi, UAE on 13 January 2023 at the margins of the 13th session of the IRENA Assembly that will take place on 14 and 15 January 2023. Pre-Forum activities will take place on 12 January 2023.
🌍 The Forum will serve to strengthen the network of young energy leaders and connect young people with global thought leaders, government representatives, and IRENA experts. Interested youth of a minimum age of 16 years are to apply for the IRENA Youth Forum by submitting a completed application.
