Why participate in e-Yantra’s School Robotics Competition (eYSRC)?
Young students share their thoughts on why their peers should participate in eYSRC.
The students here are:
Saanidhya Malhotra (Kendriya Vidyalaya IIT Powai); Saamarth S, Ruhi R, Amogha JR and R Krishnakant from BGS National Public School, Bengaluru), Aditya Ishwar Dhyade from S. M. Shetty High School and Jr. College, Mumbai; Kushagra Chaudhary from MIET Public School, Meerut.
They learnt Python by developing a series of games. They learnt to work as a team and make friends online. e-Yantra lets them interact and learn new skills online. They learn to solve problems systematically as the learning progresses in 12 cycles of building games. In the final cycle they design and build their own original game using Python.
There’s no elimination till the last cycle so there’s no fear of rejection midway and everyone learns till the end. The young participants aver that “Experience is more important than winning.”
