According to redditor /u/bangorlol who claims to have reverse engineered TikTok it collects the following information over HTTP (so vulnerable to MITM attacks):
- Everything about your phone hardware
- What other apps you have
- Your location every 30 seconds
- All network information
- So much more
TikTok is not just regular tracking for ads - it is malware disguised as a social media platform aimed at children

- Tell your friends and family to delete it
