🔷World Haemophilia Day was started in 1989 by the World Federation of Hemophilia (WFH), which chose 17 April

🔷17 April is also the birthday of Frank Schnabel, a businessman born with severe haemophilia who was the founder of the World Federation of Haemophilia (WFH).

🩺It is a rare disorder in which your blood doesn’t clot normally because it lacks sufficient blood-clotting proteins /factors.

🩺This can lead to spontaneous bleeding as well as bleeding following injuries or surgery.

🩺 Vitamin K is a group of vitamins that the body needs for blood clotting, helping wounds to heal.
