Our Website eka.eu has developed a little bit, we have won Oliver Grundmann and Fabian Steinmetz for the project, they wrote a great article about Kratom (eka.eu/kratom/). Currently the article is in the category "About Kratom", later it (probably) will be moved to the article category and we then quote most of their article in "About Kratom" and adding some information ourselves.

Currently we have one little bug in the mobile version of the website, the menu doesn't show "Board of Directors", on the PC version it shows up. We try to fix that as soon as possible. If you are reading this post on a mobile version and want to see the "Board of Directors" page you can click on this link: eka.eu/boardofdirectors/

The website and whole EKA project will develope over time, so feel free to check the website from time to time, share the Telegram channel and subscribe to the newsletter. In case you have special skills or know a way to help us, please contact us. Help is really appreciated and necessary... Thank you very much, have a great weekend!
Your EKA-Team

The European Kratom Alliance (EKA) today welcomes the Czech government for its decision not to prohibit kratom. The EKA had expressed deep concern over the possibility of a ban, which would have had a devastating impact on the lives of approximately 200,000 individuals who rely on kratom for various reasons.

“We are relieved and grateful that the Czech government has chosen to listen to the voices of the kratom community and scientists” said Jakub Zientala,, Governmental Affairs Manager of the EKA. “This is a victory for science and reason, and it sends a clear message that the Czech government is committed to protecting the rights of its citizens.”

Kratom is a natural plant that has been used for centuries for its medicinal properties. It is a safe and effective alternative to prescription opioids, and it has helped countless people to overcome addiction and improve their quality of life.

“The decision not to ban kratom is a victory for the thousands of Czech citizens who rely on it for their health and well-being,” said Jakub Zientala. “We are incredibly grateful to the Czech government for its decision, and we look forward to continuing to work with them to ensure that kratom remains legal and accessible to those who need it.”

The EKA also thanked the Czecho-Slovak Kratom Association (CSAK), national drug policy coordinator Jindřich Vobořil, Member of the European Parliament (MEP) Tomáš Zdechovský, Jana Michalidu, Brian Patrick Kennedy, and the American Kratom Association (AKA) for their invaluable support and tireless efforts in helping to prevent the ban.

“We could not have achieved this victory without the support of our partners, We are grateful for their dedication to the cause, and we look forward to working with them to continue to promote the safe and legal use of kratom.”
Good morning, everyone!

I hope you're all having a great Monday.

Two weeks ago, we hosted the first edition of the Kratom Conference in the heart of Europe, Maastricht! It was incredible to meet so many Kratom stakeholders and to have the American Kratom Association join us to discuss current affairs in the US. We are very pleased with the fruitful event and look forward to strengthening the Kratom alliance in Europe.

Thank you to everyone who joined us. For those who missed it, we hope to see you at the next event, where we can all learn about the latest regulations and developments in the industry.

Together, we are stronger for Kratom.

Best,
The European Kratom Alliance Team
Belgium has prohibited kratom on the 1st of June, 2024!

We do not agree with this decision and believe that there has not been enough research done to support the ban. Kratom has many benefits for people. For many of us, kratom is a natural alternative to pharmaceuticals, offering relief without adverse side effects.

We urge the authorities to reconsider and review the scientific evidence, engage with users, and consider regulation over prohibition.

Join us and advocate for informed choices and better access! Here’s how you can get your voice heard:

Contact/email the Federal Agency for Medicines and Health Products (FAMHP) to request deeper research on kratom's effects and benefits.
Share your story with the representatives on how kratom has helped you.
Donate to us so we can raise more awareness and fight for the right to safe kratom everywhere in Europe!

We at the European Kratom Alliance (EKA) are thrilled to announce our new strategic partnership with two of Indonesia’s leading kratom associations, ASSOSIASI PETANI PURIK INDONESIA (APPURI) and Asosiasi Mitragyna Nusantara (AMN). Together, we are working towards elevating the standards of quality, safety, and sustainability in the global kratom market.🌎📈

This partnership is especially timely, given the upcoming regulatory changes in Indonesia that will impact kratom cultivation and export. 📚🛫

Our collaboration is centered on the implementation of strong Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) standards, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and promoting overall market stability. 🌳🤍

At EKA, we are deeply committed to legal compliance throughout the entire supply chain, setting a new benchmark for responsible kratom production and distribution.⚖️
