🤔 What is ICPC?
ICPC - International Collegiate Programming Contest

The International Collegiate Programming Contest is an algorithmic programming contest for college and university students. Teams of three, representing their university, work to solve the most real-world problems, fostering collaboration, creativity, innovation, and the ability to perform under pressure. Through training and competition, teams challenge each other to raise the bar on the possible. Quite simply, it is the oldest, largest, and most prestigious programming contest in the world.

What is Competitive Programming?

Competitive Programming is a mind sport usually held over the Internet or a local network, involving participants trying to program according to provided specifications. Contestants are referred to as sport programmers. Competitive programming is recognized and supported by several multinational software and Internet companies, such as Google and Facebook. There are several organizations who host programming competitions on a regular basis.

One of the oldest contests known is ICPC which originated in the 1970s, and has grown to include 52,709 students from 3,233 universities in 110 countries, in 2018 edition.

The aim of competitive programming is to write source code of computer programs which are able to solve given problems. A vast majority of problems appearing in programming contests are mathematical or logical in nature.

Scoreboard
What is the bar?
the bar => scoreboard

"A 'Scoreboard' shows a snapshot of the performance statistics based on the ICPC simple metrics. Since posting scoreboards stops one hour before the end of the contest, there are lots of inconsistencies posted on the web. What you might really want to see is the 'Resolver'. It shows the scoreboards updated with each submission until the contest ends. I’ll see about posting those."
William B. Poucher, Executive Director at ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (1989-present)

Scoreboard is an HTML page which shows the results of contestants. it Shows the statistics who is leading who solved a question first which time, whether the answer submitted is right or wrong, how many teams are there.
