wtf... 'elizabeth webb' on episode 2 of season 14 of homestead rescue... is she related to whitney? she looks a touch like her.

i think claude opus 4.8 is primarily about cost optimisation for anthropic at the cost of precision. its replies are really lazy. it's assumptious, doesn't read material you ask it to, generalises, and keeps switching on its worst traits even when repeatedly asked to stop.

4.7 was a step backwards from 4.6, but 4.8 makes it worse.

asking it to say "is this logical deduction valid, given that" yields it immediately raising red flags about irrelevancies because it's politically incorrect.

oh, do you now?

its a little hard to unsee it once it clicks. this was indeed planned very well.

and it clearly ran in tandem with other initiatives

so the us-based rockefeller associates worked on impact investing, and uk-based rothschild on stranded assets... they keep switching; rothschild is associated with blended finance which is impact investing without a purpose, for instance, while Cameron launched the Big Society iirc...

it's clever, never questioned any of that. it's very clever. too clever.

the tories have fundamentally been aligned with labour since certainly Cameron's government beginning in 2010. setting aside the rhetoric, they've pursued policies to the same end objective.

i think we're pretty much at end station. remarkable how well planned this was.
