i never looked into this at the depth it deserved, but it's kind of passe now. i spent a lot of time investigating disease and surveillance early on, no need to spend more time on it.

before Clinton announced global surveillance of infectious diseases in 1996 (which led to DoD-GEIS in 1997), Rockefeller had a Bellagio meeting. that's of interest, as the same Rockefeller in their annuals began speaking of the Ecosystem Approach in 1993, before it was eventually defined in 1995 (early definition).

oh that's a new one - yesterday, i had two paid sub cancellations... both of which come back to the same email address.

the annualised revenue declined as a result... by $207... which is mathematically impossible, as the only options are $80/yr, or $8/month ie $96. incidentally, this was one of the latter... i mean, none of this makes any sense whatsoever, even accounting for slight currency differences.
