My entire discovery process has worked through establishing lineage and chronology. Because documents released in 1968 cannot source documents from 1969. It's a very simple, yet powerful principle for that reason alone. It leads to unmistakable truth

i never looked into this at the depth it deserved, but it's kind of passe now. i spent a lot of time investigating disease and surveillance early on, no need to spend more time on it.
before Clinton announced global surveillance of infectious diseases in 1996 (which led to DoD-GEIS in 1997), Rockefeller had a Bellagio meeting. that's of interest, as the same Rockefeller in their annuals began speaking of the Ecosystem Approach in 1993, before it was eventually defined in 1995 (early definition).
