A sudden urge to sketch my characters somehow resulted in five portraits
They show up in my posts from time to time, but I doubt anyone actually knows much about their lore, so I figured I’d write a little about each of them 👉👈

Morgan Wildriver
A powerful mage, headmaster of Cliffheart Academy, and a seven-hundred-year-old immortal elf. Eccentric, inventive, and charismatic. A century ago, he played a key role in the occupation of Nibelheim, allowing the corrupt elite of Elendor to exploit the North and drain it of its valuable resources

Albert Weir
Morgan’s secretary. Polite, dependable, and a former member of an elite guard unit. Severe PTSD has left him barely able to use magic anymore, so these days he spends more time managing paperwork outside the headmaster’s office than fighting on the battlefield

Erwin of Eisgate
The prince of Nibelheim. He has every reason to hate Morgan and the Mage Collegium that rules Elendor. He arrived in the country with a single goal: destroy it from within and reclaim his homeland’s sovereignty

Valmira and Heinmer of Eisgate
Twins and intelligence operatives loyal to the royal family. Long before the prince’s arrival, they had already infiltrated Sil’Avaron, the capital of Elendor, quietly preparing the ground for what was to come

Eilas Noxhound
In many ways, the true villain of the story. The kind of man who is willing to destroy everything in pursuit of a single goal, and who grows more powerful with every step toward it. Eventually, he will become a threat greater than both Elendor and Nibelheim combined
The funny thing is, Eilas only wants one thing.
