According to blocktivity.info, EOS reached a new record for the most actions processed in one day! Dan Larimer himself tweeted about this:
"#eos recently set a record of over 70m actions processed in one day. An average of over 810 actions per second. Our team is making great strides in further optimization and scaling. #B1JUNE"
The record currently reached more than 87 million actions, that's more than 1 thousand actions per second!According to the EOSTitan tool, the two most used contracts to perform these transactions were

In his latest Good Morning Crypto, Ivan On Tech discussed the latest #B1JUNE announcements by Block.One. In the video he explains in a simple way how the new EOSVM will work, how eosio is pushing blockchain adoption through the WebAuthn standard and raised some questions about the Voice social network.
"Let's discuss the news such as their new Voice social media app which might kill Facebook, their Yubikey integration and WebAuthn standards, and also EOS 2.0 which will mean that EOS gets its own version of WebAssembly."

EOS Virtual Machine: A High-Performance Blockchain WebAssembly Interpreter.
Block.One released the first version of the EOS VM announced at #B1June. This release is still in development and not intended for use in production environments.
"We built EOS VM to be a high performance interpreter specialized for blockchain applications, but its focus on low latency and other performance efficiencies will make it a competitive alternative for many WebAssembly use cases. [...] We expect EOS VM to increase performance up to 6X more making WebAssembly execution in EOSIO 2 up to 12X faster than when EOSIO was released just one year ago."
