A disease of which you are aware can be cured; a disease of which you are unaware cannot be cured.
Similarly in this preparation unless you know/aware of your mistakes, no external market success strategy/success guru will make you succeed.
Even as how important diagnosis is for a disease treatment, same is with self-analysis for Preparation with Awareness.
Do not blindly cover up the mistakes by the innumerable market strategies, rather give a little rationalization and time to do self-analysis.
Mistakes that haven't been unearthed with self-analysis will unconsciously crop up in the final exam and dilute one's chances of clearing in this exam. Many aspirants are reeling under this ignorant way of preparation and loosing much in this loop of preparation, primarily their self-confidence.
When there is such a level of ignorance prevalent among aspirant community, it's not a wonder to know that why aspirants are failing repeatedly in spite of so many success strategies and success gurus that being sold in market.
Ask yourself certain questions, may be that will provide a glimpse of reality in your preparation, such as how you are so easily becoming a continuous victim of market strategies? What is the root of it , is it due to lack of self-analysis, self-acceptance and self-confidence?
The role you are aspiring to become necessitates certain basic qualities (refer GS-IV), ask yourself what are they, and if you can recognise or develop them in you, is it really possible to fail repeatedly with ignorance and belief in market false claims?
Your awareness about yourself, your skills, your awareness about UPSC Exam Demand (Syllabus and PYQ), and then at last any good help from market may make you sail through this preparation and get a rank.
Or else it's same being in the loop and losing self-confidence, which ultimately leads to self-blaming and self-rejection after exhausting all opportunities to clear this Exam.
Irrespective of where you are today, it may atleast give some benefit if you can atleast awake and bring Awareness into your preparation NOW.
Don't waste your potential with ignorance.
Prepare well with Awareness

Observation from Evaluation:
Most of the aspirants are just writing the answers and filling the pages , but not "answering the question"
If you write what you want to or whatever you know then its mostly kind of writing answers, (passive practice, without any real improvement in skill).
If you first understand the demand of question, and write answer specific to that demand and present meaningfully by utilising the space given properly, then it is "answering the question" (active practice which may slowly improve skills)
Check yourself, whether you are writing answers or answering the question.
Ignorant way of joining test series and simply filling pages with answers , gathering material and model answers doesn't help most of the Aspirants. It needs a minimum of Awareness when it comes to using test series.
If you are really determined aspirant for 2026, don't waste next 3 months in darkness with negligence and ignorance.
All the best 🌿

We are the victims of our own habits.
So it's better to look a little deeper without ego filter, to know what kind of habitual patterns, are causing you to fail in UPSC CSE Examination ( be it in Prelims or Mains).
If you don't recognise such habitual patterns, it results in laborious efforts with no results and vicious loop of failures coupled with frustration about life and ever increasing self-doubt with each failure.
Only emphasis on Outside Resources and Success Guru's, doesn't make one successful in this examination. It needs you to know Yourself in the First place.
As I observed from our students, those who didn't perform well most of the time doesn't have any idea of why they are handling exam in particular mindset, they simply write and write without focusing on what's running in their minds at that situation. Passive practice it's called as, may be your speed of writing exam increase through this, but not actually your performance.
Practice Tests need lot of self analysis to plug out the hidden habitual patterns that are base for low performance than the performance your knowledge and potential capabilities deserve.
Prepare with Awareness and Transform as needed to do real preparation.

Importance of Roots for the growth of tree ( Importance of Syllabus and PYQ for UPSC)
A father wanted to test the intelligence of his two sons. He allotted to each of them the task of looking after a mango tree, promising to reward the boy whose tree yielded the best fruit in abundance. The foolish boy discovered that the leaves were withering off and that flowers were coming up at the end of the branches. Promptly he went up the tree and carefully watered every leaf. The leaves withered still more and the tree eventually died. The wise boy, on the other hand, went on watering the root; the tree was green and healthy and yielded delicious fruits in abundance.
Similarly, in this UPSC journey, all institution strategies, faculties promises and guarantees, test series claims , Promising Model Answers and materials, PhD in Current Affairs, shallow knowledge answer writing are like leaves of tree. If you go behind them, you will never get confidence, always feels like something is missing like the leaves falling down.
But , UPSC syllabus, PYQ , Understanding Exam Pattern, Conceptual Understanding, developing Self analytical skills, Rational and Logical Mind, traits of being leader not blind follower of some success strategies as they call, Awareness, are roots of trees(UPSC).
So as you are a rational human being with mature mind, and who want to be a leader/administrator, chose what to water (Focus).
Enjoy fruits of your choice (choice of preparation with Awareness or ignorance).

⚡️It is useless to dig a well when the house is on fire. ⚡️
Even so it is useless to realise in the month of APRIL, that all your preparation you did till then was not proper and filled with ignorance.
To cover up that, how much you run behind all lucrative and well exclaimed market success strategies, revision programs, crash courses and marks enrichment sessions, none of them will be of actual help in those last 20-30 days, which actually further waste your money and divert your preparation furthermore by more pressure and fear.
Quicker the diagnosis, greater the chances of recovery and healing, even so same with UPSC Preparation.
Even if an iota of doubt your innerself is voicing, that you are asleep and ignorant somewhere, it's a waking call for you to apply the weapons of self-analysis and awareness.
Hence, it is well ADVISED that, the quicker one recognises the importance of Self-Analysis (w.r.t Yourself, Your Preparation and Exam) and imbibes Awareness (w.r.t Yourself, Your Preparation and Exam) as an essential component in their preparation, the better there will be chances to utilise the next 3-4 months productively to create an opportunity to clear Prelims.
Thus, O Real Aspirant! WAKE up NOW and REMOVE the veil of ignorance (made up of self-driven misconceptions and market provided misguidance and false strategies).
Prepare Well with Awareness ✨
All the best to Real Aspirants out there 👍

When you try to chase the water in the mirage, you become disappointed, you grab sand.
Just give it a thought, what you are chasing is whether water in reality which can quench your thirst or sand looking like water which makes you despair at the end.
Many a times when you believe you will get success just by joining some institute classes, or test series or material or some book , then obviously it's equal to looking for water in the mirage.
All the above factors like institution test series, classes, material or books , they themselves can't do anything, as if really they can do anything it has to be same for lakhs of aspirants who purchase them.
All it matters is how aware you are to utilise those factors in an efficient manner according to your capabilities to bring out your potential.
Even as we read in Economy , Factors of Production are just part of production, if you don't know what product you want to produce or the process of producing, then those factors will be just what they are.
So don't waste your time and money by being persuaded by crowd mentality and market luring tactics.
Chose with Awareness and Prepare with Awareness.
Be Accountable for your valuable time and money.

Self-Doubt is the starting and ending point for most of the failures, actually you put lot of efforts to make your doubt become true by spending lot of time and energy on pondering over those doubtful thoughts. Or else your ego won't be satisfied.
First you doubt your abilities and you imagine your failure and from that moment onwards you work very hard to make that doubt come true in reality. And you blame other factors for your failure.
Is it helpful?
What you are going to achieve through self doubt, nothing but your own defeat for that matter.
When there's no use of doubt, it's better you should ignore the worm of doubt which is generated by egoistic mind and believe in yourself to first make your best efforts.
without belief no efforts can lead you to success, with belief at least there is a chance to succeed.
Decide what you want, it's doubt or belief.
One thing is sure, all your doubts are baseless and unreal, but surely they will become real with your efforts of spending lot of time and energy thinking about those doubts.
Be Careful and Be Aware
Know the bases of your thoughts and their real validity.
Don't betray your own self.
Believe in yourself❤️

Suppose a man has fallen into a fire and we tell him to get out of the fire, otherwise he will be burned. If he says, “I know I am in a fire, but my mind does not feel like coming out,” what will we tell him? Nothing....
Think on it, in terms of Living Life in Ignorance and Preparing for UPSC in Ignorance, to know what answer your ego may give.

Intense self-examination is very necessary at every stage of UPSC CSE Examination.
The more you are doing preparation in the illusions gathered from Market, Success -Guru's and YouTube, that much you will be deprived of the chances to clear exam.
Keep an intense self-examination towards your assumptions, fears and Success Guru's limitless promises of making you ranker by luring marketing strategies.
Integration of Your Original Self devoid of assumptions, UPSC Syllabus and PYQ , are bed rock foundation to utilise resources available in Market in your best interest for creating chances of clearing exam.
Otherwise you will be ruthlessly used by market forces for their self interests.
Only, Preparation with Awareness can put you atleast on the path of UPSC, but never ignorance.
You must be ever conscious of your shortcomings which distance you from Cut-off be it in Prelims or Mains and you must constantly strive to get rid of them.
Identification should always precede before taking necessary action. And Identification is impossible with out Self -Examination and acceptance beyond the clutches of your ego's claim of you are perfect.
