Reason Why We Dated & Broke Up: The reason why we ended up dating was because both of us had long admired each other but were too scared of rejection at first but ended up confessing to each other at the same time. It was a relief—everything had gone well and we enjoyed each other's presence as if we were two peas in a pod that could barely be separated; clinging onto each other like we were meant to be.

There wasn't a moment where we had any arguments, and even if there were it was just silly arguments where we jokingly argue about small things that we both could laugh off as another memory to remember.

We both gave each other gifts even when it was just a normal day as a "just because..." to appreciate each other.

Compliments were natural between us—always small yet it held so much meaning through the quiet days when we spend it alone together in a room, sharing each other's warmth like it was the most natural thing that felt just right.

Yet... It didn't last as we would've wished it did. We began to grow and so did our time together; it grew far apart that spending time felt like a luxury we could no longer afford. The comforting nights became cold, and the bright morning became dull.

It was as if the light we once had started to dim as we grew further apart. It wasn't planned, yet we both knew it wasn't going to work. The shared apartment no longer holds the laughter that used to fill it—there was no more life that once filled us.

We ended on mutual terms, cried in each other's arm yet it was unavoidable as it didn't seem to work out as it used to and despite the bitter break up, we could only smile at each other when it ended, forehead resting on another while we could only say our final goodbye and wishing we could find something better even if it weren't with each other.
