RT @nicksortor: 🚨 #BREAKING: Tulsi Gabbard has just referred MULTIPLE intel leakers to the DOJ for criminal prosecution
“These deep-state criminals leaked classified information for partisan political purposes to undermine President Trump's agenda.”

@JuniperViews Yeah. Half the reason I posted it is just that I love to see it.

@dimahledba: Yeah we absolutely need to replace KZG with something hash-based.
Quantum resistance requires it in any case.

Vitalik asked this question in 2022: Could we replace KZG with arithmetic hashes for Data Availability Sampling ? The answer back then was no.
But I think it could be a different answer today.

@elidourado: One other thing that struck me about @ezraklein @DKThomp's book (which I really appreciated, it's great to have a high-quality exposition of their ideas) is that I found no mention of anything in the direction of the idea that one role government can have is incentivizing things to be more open than they otherwise would be.
I actually think that's a very natural direction for progressivism to go. There's a decent econ 101 case that it's a default-good thing to be doing. Openness is great for science - both for its development and for public trust in its outcomes. They even have successes to point to, eg. banning non-competes is a great way to force the "tacit knowledge" of companies to be (more) partially open.
In the 00s, there were a lot of ideas floating around (eg. in pirate party type circles) that were precisely in this kind of direction. Progressivism would be better if it did more of that.

This is a really good and thoughtful discussion and friendly individualist pushback to @ezraklein and @DKThomp-style Abundance politics.
