Great progress this week - we are on the radar in Ai

Super proud to see our project, Eli5a, 8th on the CreatorBid leaderboard. We were always in the mid teens however time always tells, onwards to the top 5!!

Big news from our Eli5a scientific team:
1️⃣ A high-impact journal paper just published in a leading scientific pathology journal —defining guidelines and regulation for the responsible use of homebrew AI in healthcare and in considerations for building homebrew AI models and local lab grown AI tests and their validation.

Imagine you’re baking your own cake at home — but instead of flour and eggs, you’re mixing data and algorithms to make your own “AI model.” That’s what “homebrew AI” means: scientists or doctors creating their own local artificial intelligence systems instead of using commercial ones like Google’s or OpenAI’s.

Now, this new high-impact paper is like a rulebook written by the world’s top chefs — but for AI in healthcare. It says: if you’re making your own AI recipe to diagnose diseases, predict cancers, or analyse tissue slides, you must prove that your AI is safe, accurate, and fair before you use it on real patients.

It gives guidelines for:
• Building: how to design, train, and test these homemade AI models inside a lab.
• Validation: how to check if your AI really works, like tasting the cake before serving it.
• Regulation: how to make sure your AI follows laws and ethics — no “black box” shortcuts or patient risks allowed.

In short, it’s teaching pathologists how to responsibly grow their own “lab-bred AI,” ensuring it’s scientifically rigorous, transparent, and clinically reliable — not a wild experiment that could harm trust in medicine.
