Amazing EIS Fashion Show from Primary students whereby, students showcase some clothing designed out of recycled materials
There was much excitement amongst the children in the EYFS class on Friday, 2nd June; their parents had been invited to a coffee morning and they were going to stage a performance for them! How wonderful! How exciting!
Parents watched, enthralled, as their children showed how effectively how they now can communicate through song and dance! The children’s performance, highlighting the theme “creativity”, started with the “Good Morning” song. “Creatures Great and Small” featured the insects EYFS children have been learning about in their lessons: butterflies, ladybugs and bumblebees. Jaymin ably played the lead part in “The Music Man”, but it was the finale that made a lasting impression! “Dance Monkey”, a song the children chose themselves, was performed with passion and precision! As the performance came to a close, parents were heard to shout “encore”! It was clear that they were very proud of their children!

EIS Year 5 had a whale of a time at the Moskvarium on Wednesday. The tour guide, Ms Svetlana, spoke beautiful English and very eloquently told children about so many interesting marine and fresh water creatures. Students were amazed to see an arapaima, native to the Amazon River, one of the biggest fresh water fishes in the world, but for many the fat seals from Lake Baikal were their favourites! 🐠🐡🦀🦑🐳
