FECCLAHA Youth Pre-Assembly Forum was held in Kigali, Rwanda, under the theme of 'Role of the Youth in advocating for Peace, Justice and Social Cohesion in the Great Lakes and Horn of Africa.
#FECCLAHA- The Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in the Great Lakes and Horn of Africa. (FECCLAHA) is regional ecumenical organization that was launched in March, 1999 and launched in 2001 in Kenya to provide members with an avenue for sharing perspectives on matters peace and conflict transformation stirred by the endless conflicts rampant in the region.
Since inception, FECCLAHA has taken the lead in enhacing peace and reconciliation in the Great Lakes and Horn of Africa through facilitation of ecumenical cooperation and fellowship within the framework of holistic Christian ministry.

In Africa, millions of young people experience violence, face exploitation, miss out on education, and struggle to survive due to war and conflicts in different parts of the continent.
Amidst such challenges, young people have shown that they are able to play an active role, particularly at grassroots and local levels, as peacemakers, mediators, and peacebuilders.
"Don’t let anyone look down on you because you are young, but set an example for others..." 1Tim. 4:12

The Fellowship of Christian Councils and Churches in the Great Lakes and Horn of Africa (FECCLAHA) in partnership with the Protestant Council of Rwanda (CPR) conducted it's General Assembly and Regional Ecumenical Forum in Kigali, Rwanda.
Before the General Assembly, women and youth Pre-Assembly was held side by side.
#FECCLAHA is regional ecumenical organization that was launched in 2001 in Kenya to provide members with an avenue for sharing perspectives on matters peace and conflict transformation stirred by the endless conflicts rampant in the region. FECCLAHA Members are member national councils and churches in the following countries; Burundi, Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC), Eritrea, Ethiopia, Rwanda, Kenya, South Sudan, Sudan, Tanzania, & Uganda.
