Sharing fasting in a group setting, a shared setting, is even more powerful. You will see!
You may even join with another member here, if you would like to have support. This is the place to recruit yourself a fasting buddy or two!
I also provide personal coaching, one on one, for anyone who would like to be mentored into this practice. It's much easier to learn, if we can work together, to be sure that you're ready for it, and that you understand what you are doing.
The longer your total fast, the more important it is to learn to break the fast well, in particular. The better prepared you are for your fast, the easier it is to go longer, so as to derive more benefits.
I am just finished with a four day total fast

God willing, I will start a five day soon

And then, a seven day

How's the dry fasting my friends?
I've just finished a 175.5 hour total fast, for the festal period for the Feast of the Precious Cross, and the leave-taking was today.

I am curious: who here knows about and/or practices the Sacred Secretion approach to fasting?
How is everyone doing today?
I have just begun my monthly three day.
If at all possible, when you complete a longer dry fast, do another one, of some length, within six days after that.
I am now only about 65 hours away from completing a nine day total fast.

I had been putting off doing one of this length.
But it feels good, soul satisfying even, to be in the home stretch. Only 2.5 days until completion. I am praying more, for God's help is the only efficacious help, as far as I am concerned.
Within the past half-year, I completed two seven day total fasts, and one nine day.
What surprises me: how much deeper goes the nine day compared to the seven.
And: how comparatively difficult it is for me to get myself to do a short, 3.5 day fast again, following the nine.
