Indonesia to Raise Crypto Taxes Starting August 1, 2025
▪️ The Final Income Tax (PPh 22) for sellers on local exchanges will increase from 0.1% to 0.21% of the transaction amount.
▪️ For sellers on foreign platforms, the PPh 22 Final will rise from 0.2% to 1%.
▪️ VAT of 0.11–0.22% on crypto buyers will be completely removed.
▪️ VAT on mining will increase from 1.1% to 2.2%, while the special 0.1% income tax for miners will be abolished.
▪️ Starting in 2026, mining profits will be taxed under the standard personal/corporate income tax system.
