I will also update the website with more information on myself and all the featured projects, hopefully clarify some of the questions that keep coming up. Well what a difference a few months makes.
The whole radix landscape has changed so dramatically. When I was initially creating for the original collection, I was struggling to find enough projects I could feature in the dreamkeys. Now it seems I would have the opposite problem, as there have been so many new projects launching that it is actually hard to keep up with everything going on.
I was initially overwhelmed at the initial response. I genuinely never expected to get such a strong response immediately in the way I did. Suddenly logistical aspects of delivering the project that I maybe naively assumed I'd have more time to figure out, were expected asap. And while on a whole the reception of the Radix community has been positive and encouraging, there has been some justified criticism of the manner I went about it. It was always my intention to play some part in promoting the wonderful ecosystem that is being born on Radix, but in hindsight I may have jumped the gun a little, and overlooked aspects that should have been settled beforehand. I am trying to correct this.
I'd like to make some changes to the Dreamix collection, but I want to include the community/get feedback on the direction to head into. I'll be posting a few polls to get a feel for how the community feels about the changes I'm proposing, and please feel free to share any feedback or alternative ideas you may have. I'm going to share some of my ideas and thinking behind them, and we will see where the universe takes us.
$DRM (DREAM) I layed out a vision for this but for the moment this seems like a non-starter, as I have had zero traction in that regard. So I think that needs to be put on a back-burner for now, or we can look at a new use for that token/see what the future brings.
$DREAM (DREAMIX) The following are the changes I'm proposing:
There are 6656 tokens in existence.
The initial idea was to have the 17 designs split among all of these according to demand. (So more of the popular designs, but less popular are 'rarer')
I'm proposing to limit the amount of each design that is available. This would allow me space to add new designs into the collection, including other willing projects (there has been some interest shown in this) along with some of my other work.
So for example, each design is limited to 128. This would give me the space to add a further 35 designs into the collection (6656/128=52 : 52-17=35)
In this example, as things stand there would be 2 more of the Scorpion design available, as there are currently 126 allocated.
I will also look to increase the price, with the current sales viewed as 'pre-sales' pricing?
As some of you know, I have been working with Artistizen to create the NFT's gifted to the Beta Testers. I have developed a massive respect for not only the technical capabilities that the team has acquired, but their whole approach to bringing the marketplace to the Radix community with a focus on quality and secure functionality. They have some really cool stuff planned, with beautiful art. Artistizen himself has a really keen eye for detail, and I have really enjoyed working with him.
I plan to move the entire Dreamix collection onto their marketplace. The project gains from their technical capabilities, and buyers will be able to buy/sell/trade as they see fit. This will take some time to implement as they are ensuring they have robust infrastructure in place, but they are building that infrastructure with a very pragmatic view to make sure the switch come Babylon is seamless.
I can then also focus on creating. (and marketing/participating in the community, something I have admittedly neglected as I've tried to work on the technical aspects) I have all kinds of crazy ideas floating around my head, but can't really focus on creating too much without settling the technical stuff first.
I've suspended sales for now. I'll be adding some polls as discussion develops but I'd like to take the next step with the community's consent.
