Reminding you to keep showing up and being you! :)

For a long time, I carried the weight of feeling like I wasn’t enough, shaped by moments where I was made to feel small, where my mistakes seemed too big to recover from. It led me to become a people pleaser, constantly seeking validation. But over the years, I’ve been working on undoing this, learning that my worth isn’t tied to perfection or approval.

This journey is ongoing, and these illustrations are a reminder that we can all write a new ending—one where we’re in control.

This post is in collaboration with @emccsg ❤️

In the past, I used to think self-love and self-care were cringey, just gimmicks for people to buy more things… basically just consumerism.

But over time, I realised it’s not about expensive products or picture-perfect routines. Self-love is about being honest with ourselves, embracing our flaws, and recognizing that prioritising our well-being is a strength, certainly not something to be embarrassed about.

It’s the little things that matter, whether it’s taking time to rest, treating ourselves kindly, or finding comfort in instant noodles without guilt. It’s about dropping the pressure to make everything Instagram-worthy and simply valuing what works for us.
Hope you are taking the time to love yourself this evening, and every other day! ❤️

Self-love is not about treating yourself to something special once in a while, rather it’s about the way you talk to yourself every day, the boundaries you set, and the kindness you extend inward.

Without it, we burn out, we break down, and we forget that we deserve the same care we give to others.

Have a good week everyone! ❤️❤️❤️ Remember to be kinder to yourself!

Hi everyone! Hope you’ve been doing well.

This Valentine’s Day, let’s take a moment to love and appreciate the one person who’s always been there—YOU. ❤️

Sharing a short message from a podcast I recorded late last year, released just in time for today. Hope it resonates!

The Art of Work – Doodle Your Way to Clarity [Workshop]

Hello friends 👋🏼,
I'm co-hosting a small creative workshop (with Bold At Work) and wanted to invite you, especially if you've been feeling a little stuck, scattered, or just needing space to reflect.

It's called The Art of Work : a quiet, hands-on session where we'll use doodling and visual journaling to pause, notice, and make sense of where we are in our creative work and life. For those keen to pick up skills on creating stickers, I’ll also be sharing on that.

🗓 26 Jul (Sat), 10am–12:30pm
📍 37 Beach Road
🎟 Just $20 – plus 20% off with code FriendsofBold

No drawing skills needed. Just come as you are, curious, tired, figuring it out. It’s not a big event, just a meaningful one. And I’d love to have you there if it feels like the right fit.
