The world’s biggest yogurt company, Danone, still hasn’t cut their business ties with Russia. Producing foods and beverages for the aggressor country directly funds the missiles that are brutally killing Ukrainian people.

Want to stop it? Boycott Danone near their headquarters in Paris or on social media, and urge them to stop paying taxes to Russia.

French companies must remember—values are worth more than money. Decathlon and Leroy Merlin each make $4 billion in revenue from the Russian market; Auchan-Retail follows them with $3.5 billion. By paying taxes to Russia, these companies sponsor the bloodshed in Ukraine.

If you care about democracy, you should care about Ukraine, a country of 40 million people in the heart of Europe. 30 years ago, Ukraine broke free from the Soviet rule, heading for European integration. Supporting Ukraine means fighting for peace at homes across the globe.

On February 24, 2022, in the early morning, Russia launched an immoral full-scale war on Ukraine, bombing peaceful Ukrainian cities and attacking civilians fleeing conflict zones. Companies around the world have the power to stop this aggression by refusing to support the Russian economy and we should urge them to do so.

A common objection to withdrawing businesses from Russia is the concern that it will hurt ordinary Russians who are against the war. That is a valid point. However, there is no way to separate those openly against the war and those trusting propaganda. In the near term, the measures will result in economic isolation and will impact employment. In the long term this may trigger a change benefitting Ukraine and Russia by showing the Russian citizens it is time to question the government more and fear protesting less. The sooner they realize the war is not only hurting Ukraine but also taking away their futures, the sooner they might rise against Putin's regime. And those already risking their freedom and even lives speaking up against it will likely find economic sacrifices minor in comparison.

The giant French company Leroy Merlin still fully operates in Russia having 143 stores and roughly 45,000 employees in the aggressor country. Leroy Merlin’s parent company, Adeo, claimed that they are not planning to leave Russia, justifying that it will cause bankruptcy.

Annually, Leroy Merlin pays roughly $335 million in taxes to Russia — directly paying for the killing of Ukrainian people. It “became the first company in the world to finance the bombing of its own stores,” Ukraine’s Ministry of Defense said, when the russian rocket destroyed one of Leroy Merlin’s markets in Ukraine.

Even now, they keep ignoring the war in Ukraine, chasing the bloody money from the Russian market. We urge Leroy Merlin to stop hiding their face in the sand and open their eyes — supporting this war will put an end to your reputation.

Leroy Merlin, show the world that you don’t tolerate this.

Iridium remains silent about its current operations and network status in Russia. The company’s network, equipment, and services are actively used by the Russian military, navy, air force, airlines, government agencies, etc., thus supporting and facilitating the unjust and brutal war against Ukraine.

Mary Kay is one of the greatest advocates of respect, financial success, and recognition for women worldwide. However, it continues its operations on the Russian market. These business activities fill the Russian state coffers with tax revenues that fund the ongoing and brutal war in Ukraine. Considering the atrocities of murder and rape that the Ukrainian women experience, Mary Kay’s decision to continue their operations in Russia is unacceptable.

In response we are calling you to immediately:

Close the Mary Kay subsidiary in Russia and stop selling products to customers in Russia.
Stop renewing Mary Kay contracts with distributors in Russia.
Notify service providers and end users of the phasing out of service in the coming weeks.

The fate of Ukraine, of democracy, and of the world lies with the decisions that each of us takes.  With so many human lives at stake, we are asking you to make the right decision: to stop aiding Russia’s needless aggression and violence.
