And here is an example of creative translation. When you select "Creative", the translation might be rather artistic and differ from exact. However, you don't have to rewrite when translating, or vice versa.

And we have just finished testing of our amazing video translator. Not only it creates a new voiceover that is consistent with original timing, but may also translate your original subtitles into another language, and use free on-premise engine to narrate it.
We'll finish our testing and release this feature soon. ETA this weekend for BETA users (see beta channel in Options window).

First demo of completely automated audio replacement, from translation to voiceover. 100% done within SoundWorks, with no other editors / tools involved, from downloading random video from YouTube, to encoding amended version. It's not done in one window yet, but we'll get there.
Here is the original (English) and two translations: Russian (free TTS Silero, which you can install in Options window) and German (AWS voice). Translation was performed automatically using DeepL engine.

Creating localised video and audio with SoundWorks and some AI
In this video I'll show how you can automatically narrate and translate your multimedia materials into almost any language, on your own computer with a little help of A.I., such as DeepL, ChatGPT and Claude.
In this scenario, we'll do it for free and at high…

We are releasing at least one version to our beta channel these days, mainly because of intensive testing of the new voiceover function. Version 1.16.5 got Yandex TTS support, better compatibility with movies, and various bug fixes.
Version 1.16.6 introduces Voiceover Projects. Whenever you are producing your voiceover, it includes many steps, such as reviewing your source text, including some AI operations, editing, translating, and ultimately producing audio files. With voiceover project, these pieces are saved, and next time you open the same project, they are not regenerated unless you want to. This allows to save time and money.
E.g. you can try to create a short voiceover to see how it looks, and once satisfied - continue from where you have stopped, instead of doing it all over again. Also, all sound pieces are available now in WAV format for future reuse.
And in case you wonder - the voicover project is a simple JSON file, meaning you can edit it in any text editor, and change any translations or narrations, see which audio file contains what, and so on.
