And here is an example of creative translation. When you select "Creative", the translation might be rather artistic and differ from exact. However, you don't have to rewrite when translating, or vice versa.
Version 1.11.1.1, available to BETA users now, has one nice feature: UI Whisper installer. It allows you to install whatever components you need without going through whole Q&A process.
Version 1.12, available to BETA users now, contains German interface.

Das ist richtig, wir haben jetzt eine deutsche Schnittstelle!
Did you know that SoundWorks has GPT functionality? You can rephrase your texts for better clarity in less than a second!
New version, 1.13, contains various improvements:

You can reinstall SoundWorks by running soundworks.exe /reinstall
You can start video downloader by running soundworks.exe /video
Video downloader can optionally use external downloader (aria2)

This version currently only available through Beta channel (see Options dialog to join Beta).

NB: If application glitches after autoupdate (this, or any other) - you can always reinstall SoundWorks without losing your settings.
Production setup packages were updated to version 1.13 - this means that if you do a fresh installation of SoundWorks, it will install version 1.13. Meanwhile Beta users will receive version 1.14 soon, which will introduce SoundWorks Launcher, among other things.

New voice for English language - Niamh. As the name suggests, she is Irish!
SoundWorks now supports FREE voice generation. It's called Silero, and it's free open-source engine, which SoundWorks consumes the same way as all other engines, no installation needed. Currently, only English and Russian languages are supported.

Some of SoundWorks features are available through our Telegram bot! You can use it to transcribe your texts, generate images (there are two wonderful image generation services!), talk to ChatGPT, and much more! Soon it will also become online translator with voice!

The Rephrase feature of SoundWorks became smarter. You can now enjoy a better copywriting powered by ChatGPT 4.
(no update is necessary, we switched it server-side)
And we have just finished testing of our amazing video translator. Not only it creates a new voiceover that is consistent with original timing, but may also translate your original subtitles into another language, and use free on-premise engine to narrate it.
We'll finish our testing and release this feature soon. ETA this weekend for BETA users (see beta channel in Options window).
First demo of completely automated audio replacement, from translation to voiceover. 100% done within SoundWorks, with no other editors / tools involved, from downloading random video from YouTube, to encoding amended version. It's not done in one window yet, but we'll get there.
Here is the original (English) and two translations: Russian (free TTS Silero, which you can install in Options window) and German (AWS voice). Translation was performed automatically using DeepL engine.
We are releasing at least one version to our beta channel these days, mainly because of intensive testing of the new voiceover function. Version 1.16.5 got Yandex TTS support, better compatibility with movies, and various bug fixes.
Version 1.16.6 introduces Voiceover Projects. Whenever you are producing your voiceover, it includes many steps, such as reviewing your source text, including some AI operations, editing, translating, and ultimately producing audio files. With voiceover project, these pieces are saved, and next time you open the same project, they are not regenerated unless you want to. This allows to save time and money.

E.g. you can try to create a short voiceover to see how it looks, and once satisfied - continue from where you have stopped, instead of doing it all over again. Also, all sound pieces are available now in WAV format for future reuse.

And in case you wonder - the voicover project is a simple JSON file, meaning you can edit it in any text editor, and change any translations or narrations, see which audio file contains what, and so on.
